About Cake Box
Cake Box is an eggless cake shop in Castlefields, Derby, found at 2 The Spot, DE1 2NZ. Everything on the cake counter is made without eggs, which makes it a go-to for vegetarian celebrations and many families of South Asian heritage. It is one of 248 Cake Box locations we list across the UK.
Doors are open on 7 days each week. The earliest you can drop in is 11am. It also opens on Sundays, which is not a given for UK bakeries. At its most recent food hygiene inspection on 25 June 2025, Derby City gave the business a rating of 5 out of 5 – the top score available.
The nearest public transport is Derby station, about 13 minutes away on foot (0.5 mi). It is not the only option nearby: there are 8 more bakeries within a kilometre, so a bakery crawl is easily done. From central Derby it is roughly 0.3 mi away. On-site details we know about: vegetarian options.
